Power supply options for the Display Screen (PoE and DC)
The Display Screen runs on PoE+ or DC. PoE+ (802.3at Class 4) is recommended for permanent installs; the included 12 V / 1.5 A adapter works for bench use and 12 V LiFePO4 systems.
Power over Ethernet (recommended for all installs)
The screen needs PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at, Class 4, up to 25.5 W). Basic PoE (802.3af, 15 W) is not sufficient — the screen will either refuse to power on or brown-out under load.
A single Cat6 cable between the switch and the screen carries both data and power. No separate adapter to find a home for behind the dash.
DC barrel jack
The included adapter is 12 V / 1.5 A, center-positive, 5.5 × 2.1 mm.
- 12 V LiFePO₄ (Victron) systems — safe. The 12.0 – 14.6 V operating range fits within what the screen's internal regulator handles.
- Shore-power / AC adapter swaps — any 12 V DC ≥ 2 A, center-positive, 5.5 × 2.1 mm works.
